Job Summary
Proactively prospecting new customers, the full-time remote Sales Development Representative will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, qualifying leads and scheduling deeper discovery calls for the sales team while receiving mentorship and training for career growth.
Key responsibilities
- Qualify contacted customers and evaluate their understanding of Versapay's solutions
- Engage in proactive outreach through phone, email, and social media to generate interest and schedule calls
- Document activities and maintain data accuracy in Salesforce Lightning CRM
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in a BDR/SDR or equivalent sales role
- Proven track record of generating an outbound pipeline and exceeding outbound-specific metrics
- Strong business acumen with the ability to tailor messaging to different personas
- Proficiency with sales tools like Gong, Salesforce, or Sales Navigator
- Experience selling into the office of the CFO is a plus
