Job Summary
Owning a portfolio of enterprise accounts, the full-time remote Sales Director will lead complex sales cycles for mainframe modernization, engaging with senior business and technical buyers while developing account strategies and maintaining trusted relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, overseeing pipeline generation, closing deals, and driving expansion
- Lead long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to build consensus among C-suite executives and technical buyers
- Collaborate with Delivery and Sales Engineering to ensure alignment between customer goals and product capabilities
Required qualifications
- Proven track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals with long sales cycles
- Experience selling technical or platform products to senior technical buyers (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering)
- Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on diagnosing needs before pitching solutions
- Disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting abilities
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments, particularly in enterprise modernization contexts
