Job Summary
Leading the inside sales team, the full-time Sales Director will drive local and regional revenue growth by implementing strategic sales processes and managing key accounts while working remotely from the East Coast.
Key responsibilities
- Own local and regional revenue growth, achieving a minimum of 25% year-over-year revenue increase across Core Publishing markets
- Build and lead a team of 12+ inside sales professionals, focusing on attracting and retaining local and regional advertising partners
- Design and implement direct sales strategies while delivering net-new logos and owning key accounts as a hands-on contributor
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital media sales, with at least 5 years in sales management
- Proven track record of data-driven decision-making and CRM discipline, particularly with HubSpot
- Deep understanding of the email newsletter and local media landscape, including audience-first product monetization
- Established relationships with local and regional advertisers and agencies
- Experience adopting and deploying AI tools to enhance sales productivity
