Sales Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a premier software and consulting firm, the contract-to-hire Sales Engineer will work 90% remotely with occasional on-site presence in Chantilly, VA, focusing on pre-sales support, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and translating customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales teams throughout the pre-sales process
• Convert business and technical needs into solution designs
• Lead discovery discussions to assess workflows, integrations, and security needs

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of sales engineering or similar experience
• Experience in creating demos, sales, and development operations
• Strong background in Azure with knowledge of AWS cloud environments
• Understanding of system architecture, integrations, and cloud-based applications
• Bachelor's degree preferred, flexible for candidates with extensive experience
