Sales Engineer - Data Center
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Sales Engineer - Data Center will serve as the primary technical advisor for hyperscale cloud, neoscaler, and AI companies, managing technical sales discussions, solution design, and proposal development throughout the presales lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with tenants and translate their business objectives into infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate technical feasibility and support tenant discovery and requirements gathering
- Develop and respond to technical proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with tenant needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data center design, construction, commissioning, or presales engineering
- Prior experience supporting hyperscale, neoscaler, or AI tenants in a technical role
- Working knowledge of critical infrastructure systems and data center cooling systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite
