Job Summary
Seeking a high-energy, technically-minded Sales Engineer - Great Lakes, this full-time remote position will engage education-focused accounts, nurture early-stage adopters, and conduct application-fit discoveries to identify optimal additive solutions while expanding the market footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively prospect high-fit accounts and qualify inbound leads to build a high-value sales pipeline
- Champion and close entry-level, educational, and post-processing opportunities while collaborating with the applications team and OEM partners
- Identify opportunities for complex industrial scaling and seamlessly hand off to Regional Account Managers as needed
Required qualifications
- 2 or more years of outside, industrial or manufacturing sales experience
- Experience in selling capital equipment, manufacturing technology, automation, or technical services
- Strong understanding of engineering and additive/3D printing technologies
- Familiarity with production environments and technical buying committees
- Experience in sectors such as aerospace, defense, medical, or advanced manufacturing is a plus
