Job Summary
As a remote Sales Engineer I, the candidate will assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries, facilitate technical trials, and create software scripting solutions to convey the value of Samsara's IoT solutions within customer operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain an inbound question queue to assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries
- Coordinate technical trials and create software scripting solutions for proof of concepts
- Produce digital content for product learning and manage internal hardware and software lab infrastructure
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Preferred 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales or support capacity
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Familiarity with cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems
