Job Summary
Working remotely within the US West region, the full-time Sales Engineer I will assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries, support technical trials, and create software scripting solutions to convey the value of Samsara's IoT solutions to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Global Sales Team by monitoring and maintaining an inbound question queue for technical inquiries
- Support technical trials and create software scripting solutions for proof of concepts
- Produce and manage digital content for product learning and assist with hardware installation and software configuration
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Preferred 1+ years experience in a pre-sales or support capacity
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Familiarity with cloud software, networking, automation, and control systems
