Job Summary
Supporting the Global Sales Team remotely, the full-time Sales Engineer I will assist with technical inquiries, manage inbound questions, and create software scripting solutions to demonstrate the value of Samsara's IoT solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries and manage an inbound question queue
- Create software scripting solutions and integrations to support technical proof of concepts
- Produce and manage digital content for product learning, adoption, and installation
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Preferred 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales or support capacity
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Familiarity with cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems
- Experience tinkering with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus
