Job Summary
Supporting the Global Sales Team in a remote capacity, the full-time Sales Engineer I will assist with technical inquiries, manage trials, and create software solutions to demonstrate the value of IoT technology to customers across various industries.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain an inbound question queue to assist the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries
- Conduct technical trials and create software scripting solutions to convey the value of Samsara solutions
- Produce and manage digital content for product learning, adoption, and configuration
Required qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
- Preferred 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales or support role
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Familiarity with cloud software, networking, or automation and control systems
- Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus
