Job Summary
To support a growing customer base, the full-time remote Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) will become an expert in Checkly's platform, assisting prospects with technical evaluations and driving successful implementations while collaborating with customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive customer engagement by providing technical expertise during pre-sales processes and demos
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and share insights with Product and Engineering teams
- Continuously improve technical documentation and assist in customer support as needed
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role, preferably in dev-tools SaaS with a focus on observability or monitoring
- Strong technical skills in reading, writing, and debugging code, with a preference for Javascript/Node.js
- Experience using AI tools to enhance customer-facing work, such as generating demo code and building proof-of-concept repositories
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment while fostering team collaboration
- Exceptional empathy and curiosity for customer success, along with excellent spoken and written English skills
