Job Summary
Supporting the Public Sector customer base, the full-time remote Sales Engineer - Public Sector will develop IoT solutions for essential industries, manage customer engagements, and provide technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles while delivering technical solutions to customers
- Become an expert on Samsara products and articulate their value to prospects
- Facilitate hardware installations and develop deployment plans for customers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university
- 2+ years of experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems
- Experience with cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, and business systems integration
