Sales Marketing Procurement Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Marketing Procurement Category Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate contracts for marketing production, creative and media, market research, social media, and other sales/marketing services
• Develop global sourcing strategies for the Sales/Marketing Category
• Manage supplier relationships, contract execution, and contract renewals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in category management and/or strategic sourcing of marketing and sales purchases
• Subject matter expertise in sourcing & contracting tools (SAP, Coupa and/or Oracle)
• Certified Purchasing Manager (desirable)
• Demonstrated skills in negotiating and formulating marketing contracts, understanding cost models, and managing contractual, IP, and labor law risks
• Proficient with applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Tableau
