Job Summary
Providing remote sales support, the full-time FLEX Sales Task Force Specialist will cover staffing shortages and assist with lead generation and solicitation campaigns for MSB, Premium, and Luxury hotels across the US.
Key responsibilities
- Manage sales activities by performing duties of various sales roles based on staffing needs and achieving group revenue goals
- Collaborate with property and off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are complementary and meet property needs
- Provide sales support during new hotel openings, renovations, and for priority hotels identified by the regional team
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, guest services, or a related area; or a 2-year degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in lodging sales and account management preferred
- Familiarity with Marriott sales systems (e.g., SFAWeb|CI/TY, One Yield, GPO, MiNT, MarRFP, RAP Tool)
- Ability to understand market conditions and competitor strengths to effectively sell hotel services
- Proven track record of driving customer loyalty and delivering service excellence in customer experiences
