Job Summary
Providing remote sales support, the full-time FLEX Sales Task Force Specialist will cover staffing shortages and assist with lead generation, solicitation campaigns, and sales for new hotel openings and renovations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform duties across various sales roles to support individual hotels and sales organizations during staffing changes
- Achieve group revenue goals by responding to incoming opportunities and closing business based on market conditions
- Collaborate with property and off-property sales channels to ensure complementary sales efforts and exceed customer expectations
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience
- Experience in lodging sales or sales management preferred
- Familiarity with Marriott sales systems and multi-brand experience is advantageous
- Ability to understand market dynamics and competitive strategies
- Proven track record in account management and achieving revenue goals
