Sales Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GL Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare financial statements
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing and collections
• Oversee accounts payable processes and prepare sales tax filings across multiple states

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and sales tax filings
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
