Sales Tax Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Tax Manager to oversee sales and use tax compliance and reporting while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Indirect Tax Function, including the filing of sales and use, GST, and property tax returns
• Maintain tax systems for compliance and reporting, recommending changes for efficiency
• Analyze new legislation and manage sales tax audits with state tax authorities

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Several years of experience in sales/use taxation
• Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax laws and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in tax compliance software and ER systems (e.g., Oracle, OneSource)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant tax technology tools
