Job Summary

Managing the onboarding experience for new clients, the full-time remote Sales Tax Onboarding Specialist will coordinate project timelines, serve as the primary client contact, and facilitate communication across internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into sales tax filing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the onboarding process by managing timelines, tracking dependencies, and ensuring accountability among clients and internal teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating complex sales tax concepts into actionable guidance and support
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely handoffs and maintain alignment on onboarding status and next steps
Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, accounting, sales tax, or research
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with complex, data-heavy spreadsheets
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust and effective communication
  • Willingness to learn about sales tax processes and concepts; prior sales tax experience is a plus but not required
