Job Summary
Managing the onboarding experience for new clients, the full-time remote Sales Tax Onboarding Specialist will coordinate project timelines, serve as the primary client contact, and facilitate communication across internal teams to ensure a smooth transition into sales tax filing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding process by managing timelines, tracking dependencies, and ensuring accountability among clients and internal teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating complex sales tax concepts into actionable guidance and support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely handoffs and maintain alignment on onboarding status and next steps
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, accounting, sales tax, or research
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with complex, data-heavy spreadsheets
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust and effective communication
- Willingness to learn about sales tax processes and concepts; prior sales tax experience is a plus but not required
