Sales Tax Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Tax & Business Services Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit multi-state sales and use tax filings for small to medium-sized business clients
• Handle State business incorporation and dissolution documents, annual reports, and Fincen BOI filings
• Provide advisory services related to sales tax compliance, including client communication and tax resolution

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in business sales tax preparation and advisory
• 4-Year degree in accounting or a related field (BS/MS/MBA)
• Strong experience with Avalara tax software
• Industry experience in e-commerce, SaaS, and professional services
• EA/CPA certification is a plus
