Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sales Tax Specialist - Remote Client Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit multi-state sales and use tax filings for various clients
• Manage and mentor a team member to ensure compliance in sales tax tasks
• Conduct sales tax audits and provide advisory services related to sales tax compliance

Required Qualifications and Education

• 4-6 years of experience in business sales tax preparation and advisory
• 4-Year degree in accounting or a related field (BS/MS/MBA) required
• Certified in Avalara tax software
• Industry experience specific to e-commerce, SaaS & professional services
• EA/CPA certification is a plus
