Job Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security's mission outcomes, a Salesforce Developer with DHS Clearance will work remotely to design, build, and enhance Salesforce applications and integrations, focusing on utilizing out-of-the-box functionality and modernizing applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Manage Salesforce security and access controls, including roles, profiles, and permission sets
- Monitor Salesforce seasonal releases and recommend enhancements based on new platform capabilities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture and object model
- Experience with Apex, Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, and platform integrations
- Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
