Salesforce Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading the Salesforce engineering team, the full-time Engineering Manager, Salesforce will manage and develop a group of engineers and administrators while remaining hands-on with technology and collaborating with business leaders to deliver impactful solutions, either remotely or from Portland, OR.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Salesforce engineers and administrators through coaching, performance management, and career development
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex needs into practical, scalable Salesforce solutions
- Champion engineering best practices, improve platform reliability, and reduce technical debt across the team
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development
- 4+ years of experience managing Salesforce engineering teams, including developers and/or administrators
- Deep Salesforce expertise across Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce data model
- Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps, including SFDX, Git, and CI/CD
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders
