Salesforce Platform Architect
Job Summary
To support a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Salesforce Platform Architect will design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions, lead technical design sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce architecture solutions aligned with VA OMEGA program requirements
- Lead technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance across Salesforce platforms
- Define and enforce Salesforce development standards, best practices, and governance policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, development, and implementation
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience with data modeling, integration patterns, and middleware solutions such as MuleSoft
