Salesforce Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Owning quality across Commerce's Salesforce platform, the full-time remote Salesforce Quality Engineer will design and maintain automated test frameworks, integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines, and define test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for Salesforce, including Apex unit tests and UI automation
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, enforcing quality gates on production deployments
• Define and own the test strategy throughout the software development lifecycle, from acceptance criteria to defect triage

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality engineering experience, particularly in a Salesforce environment
• Proficient in Apex test class development and UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Familiarity with Git-based source control and Salesforce DX (SFDX)
• Strong defect analysis and debugging skills, with the ability to trace execution and parse API responses
