SAM Pro Consultant

Job Summary

To enhance the ServiceNow SAM Pro repository, the remote SAM Pro Consultant will engage in a full-time, 20-week project focused on normalizing software models, cleaning up records, and validating software entitlements.

Key responsibilities

• Normalize software models by validating publisher, product, version, and type, ensuring appropriate classifications for reconciliation and license management
• Clean up the repository by identifying and consolidating duplicate or obsolete software models and correcting inaccuracies in product classifications
• Validate and associate entitlements with the correct software models, ensuring compliance through thorough review of license metrics and supporting documentation

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and IT asset management processes
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and compliance requirements
• Ability to conduct software model normalization and cleanup activities effectively
• Experience in validating entitlements and managing software relationships
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
