Job Summary
To support a centralized Denied Party Screening team, the full-time Sanctions Risk Specialist will investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches to support various business units
- Participate in ongoing customer due diligence and assist in identifying training opportunities
- Provide guidance and support for investigators and assist with onboarding new hires
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in suspicious activity monitoring or fraud investigations
- Fluency in Japanese, including speaking, writing, and reading
- Working knowledge of U.S. denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
