Sanctions Risk Specialist

Job Summary

Fluent in Chinese, the full-time Sanctions Risk Specialist will conduct investigations into denied parties and sanctions potential matches, support customer due diligence, and assist in training new hires while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches arising from Amazon's screening solution
• Participate in ongoing customer due diligence and identify training opportunities for escalations
• Drive operational metrics reconciliation with the Denied Party Screening leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in suspicious activity monitoring, fraud investigations, or denied parties and sanctioned country screening
• Fluency in Chinese, including reading and writing
• Working knowledge of U.S. denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
