Sanctions Risk Specialist

Job Summary

Fluent in Japanese, the full-time Sanctions Risk Specialist will investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches, support customer due diligence, and assist in training and mentoring new hires while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches to support various business units
• Participate in ongoing customer due diligence and assist in identifying training opportunities
• Drive operational metrics reconciliation with the Denied Party Screening leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in suspicious activity monitoring or fraud investigations
• Fluency in Japanese, including reading and writing
• Working knowledge of U.S. denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
