Job Summary
Fluent in Japanese, the full-time Sanctions Risk Specialist will investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches, support customer due diligence, and assist in identifying training opportunities while working remotely within a centralized Denied Party Screening team.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate denied parties and sanctions potential matches to support various business units
- Participate in ongoing customer due diligence and assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new hires
- Drive operational metrics reconciliation with the Denied Party Screening leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in suspicious activity monitoring, fraud investigations, or denied parties and sanctioned country screening
- Fluency in Japanese (speak, write, and read)
- Working knowledge of U.S. denied parties and sanctioned country laws and regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
