Sanitation Associate

Job Summary

Working onsite during day shifts, the full-time hourly Sanitation Associate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the manufacturing facility, materials, and processing equipment, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize processing areas, equipment, and facilities while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Operate sanitation equipment and safely handle chemicals, including managing egg washer water changes and performing lab testing
• Report any conditions affecting food safety and maintain cleanliness in break rooms and footbaths

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sanitation or manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Proficiency in English for safety and quality compliance
• Good math and computer skills
• Certification to operate a scissor lift or pallet jack is preferred
