SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
To support critical business processes, the remote contract SAP ABAP Developer will design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions using ABAP and the RESTful Application Programming model while collaborating with stakeholders and adhering to Clean Core principles.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver SAP solutions using ABAP and the RAP model
- Build and maintain OData services, business objects, and CDS views aligned with Clean Core principles
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Strong, hands-on experience with ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP (ABAP OO)
- Solid experience building managed and unmanaged RAP business objects, including CDS views and OData V4 services
- Demonstrated understanding of SAP Clean Core principles, including side-by-side extensibility
- Hands-on experience developing on SAP S/4HANA, including familiarity with HANA-native development
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to potential access to export-controlled information
