SAP Basis Consultant
Job Summary
To support a newly onboarding US federal government client, the remote SAP Basis Consultant (L3) will manage technical operations for SAP S/4HANA landscapes on SAP Cloud ERP Private, ensuring production health, incident resolution, and security patching in a contract role.
Key responsibilities
- Perform continuous Basis administration for S/4HANA, triaging incidents and proposing resolutions
- Maintain the transport and deployment landscape, executing transport requests and managing technical integrations
- Analyze and implement SAP Security Notes, conduct proactive monitoring, and manage near-zero-downtime patching processes
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration with recent production ownership
- Experience with S/4HANA Basis administration in a live production landscape
- Proficiency in SAP HANA administration, including HANA System Replication
- Experience with transport management and multi-system landscape administration
- Prior participation in a 24/7 production on-call rotation
