SAP BTP ABAP Lead

Job Summary

Leading the development of cloud-native ABAP solutions, the contract SAP BTP ABAP Lead will design and build enterprise-grade OData services and robust business object models while ensuring clean-core compliance and scalable enterprise services in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful OData services using the ABAP RAP framework for integration with SAP S/4HANA and modern UI applications
• Create and implement robust business objects using Behavior Definitions and Behavior Implementations for various operational scenarios
• Architect scalable data models with ABAP CDS Views, incorporating UI annotations and performance optimizations

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing cloud-native ABAP solutions on SAP BTP
• Strong knowledge of the ABAP RAP framework and OData service development
• Experience with advanced data modeling using ABAP CDS Views
• Familiarity with clean-core principles and cloud extensibility in SAP environments
• Understanding of event-based processing and hybrid integration techniques
