SAP FI Functional Consultant

Job Summary

Leading solution design discussions, the remote contract SAP FI Functional Consultant will translate complex business needs into SAP FICO configurations, manage end-to-end implementations for FI modules, and develop functional specifications for data integration with external financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional solution design and implementation for SAP FI modules, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable
• Configure and support key SAP FICO structures, including Universal Journal and Inventory Management
• Collaborate with IT stakeholders to test and validate data flows across systems in manufacturing and procurement environments

Required qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on functional experience in SAP FICO design and configuration
• In-depth understanding of financial accounting principles and General Ledger accounting
• Experience developing functional specifications for integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours and travel as required
• ITAR compliance requirements - no sponsorship allowed
