SAP FICO Consultant

Job Summary

To support a public sector organization, the contract SAP FICO Consultant will work remotely to design and implement discretionary fund accounting within an existing SAP ECC environment while preparing for a future migration to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead discovery sessions to gather financial, budgetary, and reporting requirements
• Evaluate current SAP functionality and recommend optimal design approaches for fund accounting
• Document technical architecture and design decisions while reviewing recommendations with client stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Strong experience with SAP Financials in SAP ECC, preferably ECC 6.0 EHP8
• Public Sector Funds Management experience, including budget control systems and fund centers
• Familiarity with New GL, document splitting, and company code design
• Ability to design solutions for segregated accounting with consolidated reporting
• Prior experience with ECC solutions that are migration-ready for S/4HANA preferred
