SAP HANA Performance Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced SAP HANA Performance Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing, building, and optimizing HANA-native data models and analytical objects, while diagnosing and resolving performance issues across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript procedures for analytical and transactional workloads
- Translate business and analytics requirements into structured HANA data models that prioritize performance and maintainability
- Lead HANA performance reviews and audits, identifying bottlenecks using various performance monitoring tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of SAP HANA development experience
- Strong expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript
- Solid understanding of HANA architecture, including in-memory storage and parallel execution
- Hands-on experience with HANA performance tuning tools and methodologies
