SAP HANA Performance Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time SAP HANA Performance Engineer will design, build, and optimize HANA-native data models and analytical objects while working remotely to enhance business processes through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop performant calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript procedures for analytical and transactional workloads
• Translate business and analytics requirements into well-structured HANA data models that prioritize flexibility, performance, and maintainability
• Lead HANA performance reviews and audits to identify bottlenecks and optimize complex queries using HANA's advanced features

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Five or more years of SAP HANA development experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with calculation views, CDS views, AMDPs, and SQLScript
• Solid understanding of HANA architecture, including in-memory storage and parallel execution
• Experience with HANA performance tuning tools and methodologies
