SAP PLMSI Developer
Job Summary
To support a critical digital thread initiative, the remote contract SAP PLMSI Developer will design, develop, and maintain integrations between external Product Lifecycle Management systems and SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless data flow for manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize the SAP PLMSI framework to facilitate the transfer of engineering data into SAP S/4HANA
- Ensure the integration of Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOMs) with Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs) and support engineering change management processes
- Design and monitor technical interfaces using SAP Integration Suite and troubleshoot any integration issues
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on development experience within the SAP ecosystem, specifically with SAP PLM and PLMSI framework
- Strong ABAP development skills and proficiency in SAP integration technologies such as OData Services and IDocs
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in manufacturing modules like PEO
- Solid understanding of PLM concepts, including EBOM/MBOM transformation and Change Management
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI
