SAP Solution Architect
Job Summary
To lead revenue recognition design and execution for a major SAP S/4HANA implementation, the remote contract SAP Solution Architect will bridge finance operations and technical SAP solutions, focusing on ASC-606 compliance and financial data migration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead functional delivery around ASC-606 compliance, overseeing order bookings and revenue planning integration
- Support the Record-to-Report workstream by authoring functional specifications and defining data mapping rules
- Perform analysis on legacy financial data and oversee conversion strategies to ensure accurate data migration
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP Finance experience, with 10-15 years preferred
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly within the RTR domain and revenue management modules
- Deep knowledge of ASC-606 revenue recognition principles and their integration with financial planning processes
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- No specific certifications required; proven project delivery experience is prioritized
