SAP TM Event Management Expert

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote SAP Transportation Management Event Management Expert, this role will manage the design, configuration, and integration of transportation event management capabilities for a large-scale Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) implementation, ensuring end-to-end visibility and operational readiness in a Department of Defense environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the functional authority for SAP TM Event Management, advising on event capture, milestone tracking, and process visibility
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs aligned with SAP S/4HANA and enterprise integration
• Guide design and configuration decisions across key event management areas, ensuring alignment with integration points across SAP modules

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP, logistics, supply chain, or enterprise systems, with at least 5 years focused on SAP TM and transportation event management
• Demonstrated expertise in supporting SAP TM implementations in large enterprise or DoD environments
• Advanced functional knowledge of SAP Transportation Management and event management concepts
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Solution Manager, or similar for requirements management and process modeling
