Job Summary
To support a company focused on modernizing Department of Defense logistics, the remote SAP Transportation/Event Management SME will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP Transportation Management capabilities, enhancing event visibility and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional lead for SAP TM Event Management, focusing on milestone tracking, event monitoring, and transportation visibility
- Translate operational requirements into functional specifications and SAP TM solution designs
- Support integration efforts across various SAP modules and validate system configurations through testing and operational acceptance processes
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP, transportation management, logistics, or enterprise business systems
- 5+ years of experience with SAP Transportation Management and event management processes
- Strong background in translating business requirements into functional designs and system configurations
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- DoD 8140 Level II Certification required
