SAS Technical Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote SLC Technical Consultant, the successful candidate will manage SLC migration projects, perform customer discovery to assess existing SAS environments, and deliver technical training to client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with customers to evaluate their current SAS environment and migration feasibility
• Analyze existing SAS programs and collaborate with Product Development and Data Science teams to estimate custom development efforts
• Deliver technical training to customer system admins and migration teams on best practices for SLC usage and code migration

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SAS programming experience, including DATA Step and DS2 proficiency
• Strong knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, and advanced PROC usage
• Experience with complex SAS code bases, including debugging and optimization
• Proficient in SQL and data querying techniques
• Solid understanding of data structures, processing, and analytics workflows
