SAS Viya Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting and modernizing the SAS platform environment, the full-time remote SAS Viya Administrator will ensure system reliability, assist users, and facilitate the transition from legacy SAS to SAS Viya within a federal client environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot application issues to ensure the SAS deployment functions effectively
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan the migration of SAS users from legacy systems to SAS Viya
• Provide technical guidance and user support for both technical and non-technical stakeholders related to the SAS platform

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience administering SAS platforms in enterprise environments
• Experience with system monitoring, performance troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting SAS infrastructure and platform operations
