Satellite Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Satellite Operations Engineer to execute mission operations and improve automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the full life cycle of mission operations, including ground system integration and satellite command and control
• Develop operational procedures and improve automated operations systems through scripting and analysis
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to spacecraft anomalies and support special projects

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Significant experience in at least one of the following: Astrodynamics, Guidance, Navigation, and Control, Electrical Engineering, Communications Systems, Thermal Engineering, or Embedded Software
• Experience in scaling a fleet of vehicles and their support infrastructure
• Ability to handle real-time operating environments and address uncertainties
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful U.S. permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations under U.S. export regulations
