Satellite Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Contributing to a dedicated team of engineers, the full-time Satellite Operations Specialist will manage satellite health and service delivery, address anomalies for rapid service restoration, and develop operational procedures while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nominal operations to maintain spacecraft health and the Kepler Network
• Conduct trending and performance analysis of spacecraft platforms and payloads
• Develop and validate operating procedures for all mission phases

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or relevant experience
• Knowledge of LEO, sun-synchronous orbits, and spacecraft command and control systems
• Working knowledge of Python and comfort in a Linux environment
• Experience in spacecraft operation or testing, ideally with responsibility for platform subsystems or instruments
• Ability to support operational requirements and participate in shift work and on-call duties
