SBA Business Development Officer

Job Summary

Focusing on client contact and loan origination, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr will market a comprehensive range of banking services to SBA loan-eligible businesses while conducting financial analysis and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Self-source SBA loan origination with an emphasis on client interaction and financial analysis for loans ranging from $350K to $5MM
• Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, conduct initial analysis, and prepare credit packages
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years of SBA lending experience
• A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
• Experience in SBA loan origination and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in PC and internet use
