SBA Business Development Officer

Job Summary

Focused on marketing a comprehensive range of banking services to SBA loan-eligible businesses, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior will self-source loan origination, conduct financial analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Self-source SBA loan origination with a focus on client contact and analysis for loans typically ranging from $350K to $5MM
• Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, and prepare credit packages
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SBA, business, or commercial lending
• Experience with SBA loan origination and familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Proficiency in PC and internet usage
