SBA Business Development Officer

Job Summary

Marketing a full range of banking services to Small Business Administration (SBA) loan eligible businesses, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr will focus on client contact, loan origination, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Self-source SBA loan origination with an emphasis on client contact and analysis
• Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, and prepare credit packages
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and agency guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
• Minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
• Experience in SBA loan origination preferred
• Proficiency in PC and internet applications
