SBA Business Development Officer

Job Summary

Responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to SBA loan eligible businesses, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Senior will focus on self-sourcing loan origination, client contact, and financial analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Self-source SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact and financial analysis
• Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, and prepare credit packages
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines and organizational policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
• Minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
• Familiarity with commercial loan underwriting systems
• Experience in SBA loan origination
• Proficiency in PC and internet usage
