SBA Business Development Officer
Job Summary
Responsible for marketing a full range of banking services to Small Business Administration (SBA) loan eligible businesses, the full-time remote SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr will focus on client contact, loan origination, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Self-source SBA loan origination with an emphasis on client contact and analysis
- Review financial statements, structure loan proposals, and prepare credit packages
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as agency guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
- Minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
- Experience with SBA loan origination and commercial loan underwriting systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in PC and internet usage
